LOCATION
Mayrhofen is located 32 kilometres south of Jenbach, nestling at the end of the Ziller Valley and is the 3rd largest community in Tyrol. The town benefits from being surrounded by nine other resorts, namely Fügen, Hochfügen, Kaltenbach, Zell, Gerlos, Königsleiten, Finkenberg, Tux and the Hintertuxer Glacier.
The resort is close to several airports, the nearest being Innsbruck (a quick 30mins down the road) and others such as Salzberg and Munich are only a couple of hours away by coach transfer. This means you dont have to take an agonizing (but often fun) 24 hour coach journey, but simply jump on a short flight and swift transfer to take you to the incredible snowy Alps of Austria.
